In his free time, Mike enjoys old cars, and enjoying camping and going to the lake with his wife Brenda. Mikes voice can also be heard across the Midwest on various commercials and on a variety of other radio stations In addition to his management duties, he continues his on air shifts, Middays on Classic Rock Eagle 107.3, Afternoons on Classic Hits Kool 105.5 and evening s on Soft Hits 94.3 The Breeze and hosts the Weekend Gold oldies show on Kool 105.5 Mike Daniels was not only the original midday personality of WGLQ, but also the Program Director and Operations manager on the new station.Ĥ0 years later, Mike is now the Director of Network Operations for the 15 stations of the Radio Results Network and the 2 stations of the Marquette Radio Group. Raised in Newberry, Mike wanted a better place to raise his children, so in 1982, when the offer for a new station in Escanaba, Mike knew this was it. Like many of the RRN On Air Staff, Mike Daniels worked in bigger radio markets but couldn’t wait to come home to the U.P. When he’s not on the air or traveling, Tim enjoys trying out new recipes on his smoker. He also enjoys researching his family’s genealogy and has traced a couple of branches of his family tree back to Colonial America in the early 1600s. Tim loves going on fun road trips with his wife, especially exploring the canyon country in the Southwestern US, while eating junk food along the way.
Unless of course it’s the NFL season in which case Scott can be found in front of a television. Scott enjoys snowboarding, playing softball, coaching and playing soccer, and relaxing with his wife and three children. Throw in the top hits from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today and you’ve got the top morning radio show in the area. There’s also time for conversations with local officials about community events.
