Still though I'm excited and I didn't know if I would be after SFV. There are a few things that give me pause, like the simplified controls and the MMO style online lobby getting in the way when I just want ot hop into a match. I like most of what I'm seeing and hearing so far. Multiple supers are back which should give characters a lot more options.
Better be Dino Crisis reboot but that clock font is very Res Evil 7&8. DS and SimCity Societies (2007), Minecraft (2011), SimCity Reboot (2013). If this winds up being a Street Fighter 6 announcement I will lose my mind and buy. It also should make the decision as far as what to do with your meter a bit more interesting. SimCity (1990), Doom (1993) and Street Fighter II (1991), there are also. It seems like they combined basically every system from the previous games and tied it to the same meter? I'm worried about bloat but at least there are no character defining installs. Reading about the drive system and it seems much more 'free' than V.
STREET FIGHTER 6 REBOOT FULL
The game is a lot more lively and colorful than the teasers implied and I'm happy about that! It almost looks like the effects are a bit too much during gameplay but I'd need to play a full match to see for sure. The Street Fighter 6 leaked roster is as follows, but of couse take all these names with a heavy pinch of the proverbial salt until they're officially confirmed: Ryu (confirmed) Ken Zangief Dhalsim. The character models are kind of rough and I think they'd be better off leaning less on realism but the fantastic animations are making up for it. So far, none of these projects have been confirmed by Capcom. with Power Stone Remake and Final Fight Remake also coming in 2024.
STREET FIGHTER 6 REBOOT SERIES
A fully explorable metro city with street art defining the game's aesthetic, fashionable new designs for most of the cast and the revamped combat system being compared to the ebb and flow of dancing? It's like someone pulled the Street Fighter of my dreams out of my head. According to the leak, Capcom is planning Street Fighter 6 to release in 2022 (purportedly for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series XS, XB1 & PC), followed by ' Super ' and ' Ultra ' editions in 20. The whole Esports/MMO sheen that first trailer had convinced me that we wouldn't see that but of course I was wrong and they've gone full tilt into a fully.
My big request for the series was for them to put the "Street" back in Street Fighter.
